Newsbrief: As MMO publisher Aeria Games passes 40 million gamers worldwide across all its titles, it has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Sony's So-net Entertainment internet service provider subsidiary. The company, which recently opened a new mobile gaming division in Santa Clara, California with the aim to launch one to two mobile titles per month, currently sees more than 1 million gamers join its playerbase every month. With this latest investment, the Hello Kitty Online publisher plans to strength its position in the global MMO market, and expand both its free-to-play MMO and mobile gaming divisions.
