Microsoft throws in a free Forza 5 to entice U.S. Xbox One buyers

A digital download for the the popular racing game will be available to new Xbox One buyers for a limited time, Microsoft has announced.
Newsbrief: Today, Microsoft has announced via its Major Nelson community blog that launch title Forza Motorsport 5 will be available for free as a digital download to new buyers of the Xbox One at select retailers in the U.S. It's not hard to see this as a move to increase the value proposition of the console package, which retails for $100 more than its direct competitor, the PlayStation 4. The PS4 has outsold the Xbox One since launch, which some analysts have put primarily down to the price difference between the two consoles.
