Swedish mobile studio MAG Interactive has picked up QuizDuel developer FEO Media for an undisclosed fee.

MAG believes QuizDuel will compliment it's own roster of trivia titles, which includes Ruzzle, Wordbrain, and Wordalot, and help it tap into new European markets.

The purchase is the Swedish firm's third in four years, following the acquisition of WordBrain in 2014 and developer Delinquent Interactive in 2015.

"This is a truly exciting step for MAG. With FEO Media under our wing, we are expanding our footprint and becoming a leader also within the trivia games category," said company CEO, Daniel Hasselberg.

"With QuizDuel we will now also reach new markets such as Germany and Russia, and in addition can leverage MAG Interactive’s strong position in other regions, such as the U.S., to improve its reach."
