Fluik Entertainment's "side-splitting new game" Office Jerk has been downloaded from the iTunes App Store 1.6 million times in its first four days of availability, the company has said. The freemium game -- which debuted at the top of the App Store's free games chart -- is similar to Paper Toss, a popular premium game. That success spread internationally, said Fluik, with the game reaching the number one slot in 23 countries. "We had high hopes for the game, and reaching the top of the App Store charts in so many countries is truly humbling," said Fluik CEO Victor Rubba, who added that the company will expand the franchise in the future. Edmonton-based Fluik Entertainment was founded in 2009, and has released ten games thus far. Office Jerk is the studio's second collaboration with Vancouver's Big Fat Simulations; the first was called Airport Madness Challenge.
