Nintendo revealed today that TV service Hulu Plus is coming to both the Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo Wii before the end of the year. Users of either console will be able to stream thousands of popular TV episodes instantly to the devices, with shows like Modern Family, Glee and Dancing with the Stars available from launch. A variety of partners are on-board to offer video content to Hulu Plus on Nintendo devices, including ABC, Comedy Central, FOX, NBC and MTV. The service will be priced equally to the services found on all other devices, with a monthly subscription fee of $7.99 plus limited advertising. The news was announced alongside a stream of other 3DS reveals, including the upcoming 3DS video recording capabilities, and the dedicated Mario Kart 7 channel. Hulu Plus was added to Xbox 360 in the U.S. earlier this year, with the service free for the opening week. Nintendo did not divulge whether its own service will see a similar promotion.
