Newsbrief: Mobile game analytics firm GamesAnalytics today revealed a large-scale shift in its operations, with a major new platform launch, and a company-wise name change. deltaDNA, as the company is now known, is a new dedicated real-time personalization and player insight platform, providing data-driven technology for free-to-play games. The idea is that free-to-play developers can utilize the free platform to achieve better engagement with their players. Premium modules can then be added to the platform to access more in-depth insight tools. deltaDNA is calling itself "the first second-generation analytics company," stating that it is the first company to give developers access to high granularity data in high performance databases -- essentially allowing you to undertake train-of-thought analysis and drive decisions from that insight, rather than estimating which AB tests are worth running.
