Newsbrief: A new development studio which will focus on music games has been founded by former senior members from Chime dev Zoe Mode. Ciaran Walsh and Ste Curran have formed Echo Peak, and have been working on their first release, in collaboration with "a major global music star," since September of last year along with a team that is staffed by former Electronic Arts, FreeStyle Games and Doublesix employees. Walsh is the company's game director, while Curran is the creative director. Echo Peak aims to create games based on the music of individual music artists.
