Newsbrief: Irrational alum and former The Last Of Us art director Nate Wells seems to have taken a job with Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics after a brief stint as art director at the indie studio Giant Sparrow. Wells left Naughty Dog earlier this year to join Giant Sparrow in Santa Monica, which is perhaps best known for releasing The Unfinished Swan in 2012; the studio released an updated version of the game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita at the end of October. Wells had previously served at Naughty Dog for nearly two years, joining up in 2012 to help ship The Last Of Us. Prior to that he spent over a decade working at the now-shuttered Irrational Games, most recently as art director on Bioshock Infinite.
