Football Manager 2022 has sold 1 million copies on PC and Mac.

That's according to Sports Interactive boss Miles Jacobson, who said the long-running series' continued success isn't something the company takes for granted.

"In these difficult times, especially with the cost of living crisis, this [milestone] is not something we take for granted," wrote Jacobson on social media. "So thank you to all of you who have bought the game - or played via Xbox Game Pass or other platforms."

Football Manager 2022 launched in November 2021 and is published by Sega. The soccer management simulator is currently available on numerous platforms including PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles.
