Former LittleBigPlanet programmer Moo Yu and Tearaway creative chief Rex Crowle have teamed up to launch Foam Sword, a London-based game company that aims to make games about "fun, friends and imagination."

Yu (an occasional Gamasutra blogger) left Media Molecule some time ago -- his most recent post was with Moshi Monsters developer Mind Candy, where he also worked on his own game in his spare time.

Crowle is currently still working at the Guildford-based studio, and seemingly intends to split his time equally between Media Molecule and Foam Sword. He recently took to the stage at Sony's Paris Games Week event to help showcase Media Molecule's upcoming game Dreams.
