Newsbrief: Finnish developer Traplight has secured another €1.3 million ($1.37 million) in funding, meaning the studio has now received a total investment of €2 million ($2.11 million) since it was founded in 2010.

The latest funding round was led by tech investor Initial Capital, and also included previous investors Sunstone Capital and Finnvera Venture Capital.

According to Traplight CEO, Riku Rakkola, the cash will help the studio publish and further develop its debut title, puzzler-racer Big Bang Racing, and give it the financial security it needs to push ahead with a new project.
