Newsbrief: Game rewards network Kiip has hired former Zynga global director of brand advertising Manny Anekal as its new COO.
Anekal was previously global director for ads at Electronic Arts before his Zynga role, and integration manager for Massive Incorporated prior to that. He has over six years of experience in video game advertising.
In his new role at Kiip, he will oversee the company's real-world rewards scheme, which sees players receiving snack smaples, Amazon gift cards and other physical prizes when they complete achievements in games.
