Digital card game studio 5th Planet acquires Twilight, The Walking Dead projects

Newsbrief: Social games company 5th Planet Games has acquired game design consultancy To Be Continued, with the aim to secure its position as one of the top collectible trading card game developers on Facebook. As part of the acquisition, 5th Planet will take on all of To Be Continued's current and future projects, reports Inside Social Games, including social card games based on the Twilight and The Walking Dead franchises, along with two unnamed Hollywood properties. 5th Planet had previously partnered with To Be Continued on its 2011 Facebook fantasy card game Clash of the Dragons. 5th Planet also hosts games on its own portal, and via popular browser gaming website Kongregate.
