A battle taking place in Devil May Cry 5

Devil May Cry V has sold over 5 million copies worldwide, according to a (translated) tweet from developer Capcom.

The action title surpassed that milestone in just over three years, having launched on March 8, 2019.

The game was made available on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at launch, but has since been released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S in the form of an expanded version called Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition.

It has also been rolled out on Amazon Luna, the cloud gaming platform developed and operated by Amazon.
