Newsbrief: Hiroshi Tobisawa has stepped down as CEO of Capcom Europe after roughly four months on the job, and GamesIndustry.biz reports that he'll be replaced by long-standing Capcom executive Katsuhiko Ichii.

It's a remarkably quick turnover, as Tobisawa formally took the reins of Capcom's European division from former CEO Kunio Neo back in December. Neo himself had only held the position for two years.

As Ichii settles in, Tobisawa is expected to return to Capcom Japan to "pursue other business opportunities."
