European video game publisher Bigben Interactive has acquired the Test Drive brand from Atari.

Newsbrief: European publisher Bigben Interactive has purchased the rights to "use and develop" the Test Drive brand from Atari, which retains the rights to sell all previously released Test Drive games.

Bigben says it plans to start working on a new entry in the Test Drive Unlimited series, the last of which sold 1.8 million units. 

Test Drive will sit alongside the company's other key racing franchises, World Rally Championship (WRC) and TT Isle of Man.
