Analyst: Mobile gaming revenues to reach $7.5B worldwide by 2015
Analyst firm SuperData Research estimates that worldwide revenues from mobile gaming will reach $7.5 billion by 2015, up from $2.7 billion this year.

Analyst firm SuperData Research estimates that worldwide revenues from mobile gaming will reach $7.5 billion by 2015, up from $2.7 billion this year. Of this total, the Casual Games Sector Report suggests that $3.2 billion will come from the Asian mobile gaming space, including games played on mobile phones, smartphones and tablet devices. Elsewhere, the report suggests that the majority of mobile gamers spend between $8 and $15 a month on mobile games, while between 3.5-10 percent of mobile free-to-play gamers eventually convert to paying users for free-to-play titles.
