Game Developers Conference 2015 organizers have chosen 15 teams for the return of alt.ctrl.GDC, an on-site exhibit of alternative control schemes and interactions.

This time, attendees will wear a snail controller in Snail Run, disable a bomb while wearing Oculus VR in Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, chef with finesse in Robo Mama's Cooking Kitchen, stick their hands inside Ferdinand Laboite's controllable head, and more.

alt.ctrl.GDC is open to all attendees and will make its second showcase on GDC's Career Center Floor from Wed-Fri, March 4th-6th. Out of over 100 submissions, organizers have chosen 15 teams and 18 indie-centric, one-of-a-kind game peripherals and unique tech pairings that challenge commonly accepted forms of input.

Just a few of the other unique interactions will include Space Beagles' pug simulator, Sam Sheffield's collection of playable masks, and SuperSoul's live racing and sumo-wrestling of rumble-triggered Xbox 360 controllers.

The entire roster of 18, which includes winning entries from the first ever ALT CTRL Game Jam sponsored by GDC, is as follows:

- Robin Baumgarten's Line Wobbler

- Petri Autio and Robin Baumgarten's Venus Box

- Akshay Ramesh, Jaekyun (Brandon) Kang, Yeongmin Elizabeth Won, Shengze Zhang, Nigel Randall, Timothy Staton-Davis' Book of Fate

- Steel Crate Games' Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes

- Glitchnap's Desert Mini-Golfing

- Kristina Durivage and Jerry Belich's Robo Mama's Cooking Kitchen

- Jerry Belich's A.F.T.E.R.G.L.O.W.

- Team Ferdinand's Ferdinand Laboite

- Mike Lazer-Walker's What Hath God Wrought?

- Alexander Krasij's TriPad

- Super Soul's Deluxe Turbo Racing 360

- Anthony Kozak's Unknown Radio

- Sam Sheffield's Homies

- Sam Sheffield's Hexed Heart

- Space Beagles' Butt Sniffin Pugs

- Alan Zucconi's DodecaLEDron

- Rad Sandwich Games' Spacebro Justice Rocket

- ENIAROF's Snail Run

Teams will showcase their games and devices at the alt.ctrl.GDC exhibit area at Moscone's North Hall -- alongside the GDC Play area and Career Center.

Any questions about the exhibit should be directed to alt.ctrl.GDC's organizer, Indie Fund developer scout and Media Indie Exchange co-creator John Polson.

alt.ctrl.GDC is just one of many exciting interactive exhibits planned for GDC 2015. Others include the Videogame History Museum's Atari tribute showcase, The Indie MegaBooth showcase, and an exhibit from The Wild Rumpus indie showcase collective.

For now, don't miss the opportunity to save money by registering early -- the deadline to register for passes at a discounted rate is January 21, 2015. GDC 2015 itself will take place March 2-6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
