AIAS adds Zynga's Brian Reynolds, Nexon's Min Kim to board of directors

Zynga chief game designer Brian Reynolds and Nexon America co-founder Min Kim are the latest industry veterans to be appointed to the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences board of directors.

Zynga chief game designer Brian Reynolds and Nexon America co-founder Min Kim are the latest industry veterans to be appointed to the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences board of directors. The AIAS is currently made up of over 22,000 members, with industry leaders represented such as Sony, EA, Nintendo, Microsoft, Google, Capcom and Blizzard. The organization also runs the D.I.C.E. Summit yearly in Las Vegas, during which the Interactive Achievement Awards are presented. Effective immediately, Reynolds and Kim will be on hand to "bring wonderful insight, creativity, and passion" to the organization, the AIAS said in a statement. The duo join the likes of Google's Seth Ladd and Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce, both of whom were appointed to the board of directors last year.
