Inti Creates’ Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, a spinoff of the yet-unreleased crowdfunded spiritual Castlevania successor Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, has surpassed 100,000 sales just one week after its release.

The milestone itself is something worth recognizing, but game developers might be especially interested in some of the specifics the developer has shared about the game’s early sales.

Inti Creates’ celebratory tweet includes a detailed peek at both how Curse of the Moon's first week of sales played out, divided by both platform and region. The Switch notably was responsible for over half of Curse of the Moon’s 100,000 sales, with 56 percent of all copies sold being Switch versions.

Following that, Steam made up 19 percent, the PlayStation grabbed 17 percent, and the 3DS and PlayStation Vita each nabbed 4 percent individually. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon has recently released on Xbox One as well, meaning numbers for that platform were naturally not included in the breakdown.

Regionally, 64 percent of purchasers were based out of North America, followed by 23 percent in Japan and Asia, and the 13 percent of remaining sales coming from Europe and Australia.
