Newsbrief: Legion, the latest expansion for Blizzard's long-running fantasy MMO World of Warcraft, has shifted 3.3 million copies in one day.

It's a total that matches the all-time sales records set by previous expansions Warlords of Draenor and Cataclysm

Blizzard also revealed that during Legion's launch-week the game's concurrent player count climbed to its highest point since 2010, although it didn't offer up any exact figures.

That said, we do know World of Warcraft's subscriber count leveled off at 5.5 million players as of November 2015, thanks, in part, to the unveiling of Legion.
