Newsbrief: The Writers Guild of America today announced that Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception has won its Outstanding Achievement in Videogame Writing 2012 award.
Naughty Dog's lead writer Amy Hennig was credited for Uncharted 3's story. The game was up against numerous big-name titles for the award, including Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Batman: Arkham City, Brink and Mortal Kombat.
Last year, the award went to Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, which won over nominees such as God of War III, Fallout: New Vegas, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.
