A couple of former Eidos and Sony developers have started a new independent game company, aiming to launch a game for iOS later this year. Lady Shotgun Games is led by Anna Marsh and Sarah van Rompaey, both of whom have worked on the Tomb Raider franchise, among other high-profile games. Marsh has worked in the games industry for 13 years, for companies such as Psygnosis, Sony, Sega, Eidos and Crystal Dynamics. She was the executive designer on the Tomb Raider franchise at one point, and also worked on the Hitman and Aliens franchises. Business partner van Rompaey has previously worked for the likes of Infogrames, Atari, Eidos and Sony over the course of 11 years, and was senior producer on both Tomb Raider and SingStar. The duo is joined by a string of freelancers, including lead artist Gabriella Pavan and writer Katharine Neil, and plans to reveal its first game sometime in the summer.
