The Last of Us picks up Writers Guild award
The Writers Guild of America has revealed the winner of its Outstanding Achievement in Videogames Writing award for 2014, giving the award to Naughty Dog's The Last of Us.

Newsbrief: The Writers Guild of America has revealed the winner of its Outstanding Achievement in Videogames Writing award for 2014, giving the award to Naughty Dog's The Last of Us. This annual award honors what the WGA believes to be the best video game script of the past year. Judges for the award are all either caucus members or WGA members actively working in games. This year's award was given to Neil Druckmann, creative director behind The Last of Us. Past winners of the honor include Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, Uncharted 3, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Dead Head Fred.
