Newsbrief: After achieving more than four times their target Kickstarter funding for the indie strategy game The Banner Saga, the ex-BioWare developers at Stoic Studio have ramped up their project's scope to include some new partnerships with external audio and animation experts. To create a soundtrack for The Banner Saga, the team has enlisted the help of Austin Wintory, who recently helped compose the score for Thatgamecompany's indie hit Journey. In addition, Kpow Audio, the sound team for Rockstar's L.A. Noire, will also step in to lend its support to the game. Over on the visual side, the team has partnered with Powerhouse Animation, which previously created cinematics for games like Epic Mickey, DC Universe Online, and Starhawk.
