Team Fortress 2 has received a new free update, adding a Replay Editor that allows players to put together their own in-game movies and upload them to YouTube. The Replay Update adds the ability to take footage from replay-enabled servers and edit the scenes into a movie. Your film can then be uploaded straight to YouTube in-game, and shared with your friends on Steam. The update also adds new movie-related achievements, including achievements that check how many views your YouTube uploads have received, new taunts for your characters, and the obligatory hat. As a means of getting players to try out the clip editor, Valve has also introduced a competition called The Saxxy Awards. Running until May 19, players can enter their Team Fortress 2 movies into a variety of film categories, ranging from Most Inventive Kill to Most Epic Fail. Winners will receive a 'golden' Saxxy award, and also be featured in a special Team Fortress 2 comic strip.
