Stardew Valley, the fantastical country-life RPG from Eric Barone (a.k.a. 'ConcernedApe'), has sold over 15 million copies to-date.

The milestone was quietly announced on the Stardew Valley press page, and comes over five years after the title launched in February 2016.

That figure presumably includes sales across all platforms, with Stardew Valley having made its way to PC, console, handheld, and mobile hardware over the past half-decade.

The charming agricultural jaunt had sold 10 million copies as of January 2020, meaning it has racked up another 5 million sales over the past 20 months.

Barone spent four years solo-developing Stardew Valley ahead of its initial PC launch, and since then the title has gone from strength-to-strength. Five major post-release updates have brought new features -- including multiplayer -- into the fold, while the game's continued success has even resulted in the creation of an official Stardew Valley board game
