The recently revealed Metal Gear Online will be included with all copies of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Konami has confirmed. Announced at the inaugural Games Awards, Metal Gear Online sees players teaming up to take on various co-op missions. The announcement video, above, details the player shifting between different appearances before settling on the visage of Big Boss, MGS V's protagonist. This marks a trend of major publishers making efforts to distinguish their multiplayer quotient from their single player, with Grand Theft Auto V doing the same with GTA Online both in 2013 and the current-gen rerelease of November. Metal Gear Solid V has no confirmed release date as yet, although fan-theories abound as to whether Kojima is dropping clues with his wardrobe choices.
