Invizimals Developer Novarama Signs Exclusively With Sony

Sony revealed today that Barcelona, Spain-based Invizimals developer Novarama Technology has signed an exclusivity deal with the PlayStation house, and will bring its upcoming title Reality Fighters solely to PlayStation.

Sony revealed today that Barcelona, Spain-based developer Novarama Technology has signed an exclusivity deal with the PlayStation 3 and PSP house. Founded in 2003, Novarama will now be developing games exclusively for SCEE on Sony platforms, including the upcoming Reality Fighters for the PS Vita handheld, which will be a launch title. Novarama is best known for its augmented reality game series Invizimals for the PSP, and is planning to continue implementing augmented reality into its upcoming games. Michael Denny, senior vice president of SCE Worldwide Studios Europe, explained, "This strategic alliance with one of Europe's brightest developers, a developer with unrivalled experience of augmented reality games shows our determination to work with creative and innovative developers." Novarama's CEO Dani Sanchez-Crespo added, "These are exciting times to be part of the Sony family. With PS Vita on the horizon, the possibilities for creativity are endless."
