A group of game developers have banded together to form Ocelot Society, a new indie studio based out of Paris that's aiming to release its first game next year.

The game itself, Event[0], has been in development for some time, and it's interesting to note that its developers are only now coming together to form their own formal studio ahead of its launch.

Previously, the founding partners of Ocelot Society worked at studios like Ubisoft (Assassin's Creed), Tequila Works (Rime) and Amplitude (Endless Legend.)

Ocelot currently counts ten people among its staff, and aims to ship Event[0] -- a first-person narrative game about talking to an AI aboard a derelict spaceship -- next summer.
