Since launching last month for iOS and Android devices, Omgpop's Pictionary-style game Draw Something has been downloaded over 25 million times for mobile devices, and is currently the most popular game on Facebook. Draw Something launched at the start of February for iOS and Android devices -- it had already been available for Facebook before that. The game sees players drawing images and sending them to friends, who must then guess what has been drawn. In less than two months, the game has shot to the top of the Facebook daily active user charts off the popularity of the smartphone versions, currently beating the likes of Words with Friends and CityVille with 12.2 million DAUs in total - it had 10.8 million DAUs as of last week. According to a report in the New York Times, the smartphone versions of the game have been downloaded more than 25 million times combined, and more than 1.5 billion pictures have been drawn. Dan Porter, the chief executive of the company, explained that the mobile versions of the game have helped the Facebook version gain traction, noting that Omgpop is "benefiting from hitting at a time when a lot of people are moving from feature phones to smartphones."
