Newsbrief: UK-based studio Stainless Games has secured another $3.5 million in investment on top of its previously successful Kickstarter campaign, for its upcoming Carmageddon reboot. The company announced Carmageddon: Reincarnation back in 2011, and secured more than $600,000 in pledges as part of a Kickstarter last year. A group of Stainless shareholders, including Les Edgar, previously founder of Bullfrog Productions and former VP of EA's European Studios, have now invested an additional $3.5 million in the project. Part of this added investment will go towards bringing the game to next-gen platforms, the company said. Read more on the Stainless Games website.
