Newsbrief: Blade & Soul, another MMORPG from Guild Wars publisher NCSoft, has hit 1 million active players within days of its U.S. and European launch. 

The game was released on January 19, 2016, in the West after making its debut in Korea way back in June 2012.

In a classic Gamasutra interview, conducted in his native Seoul, we caught up with Blade & Soul technical director Hyung-Tae Kim to discuss his process, thoughts on anatomy and character, and his influences.
