Zombie Studios, creator of F2P FPS Blacklightand last year's Daylight, has closed after twenty years, with a large portion of the development team moving to the newly formed Builder Box, who will continue to develop and maintain Blacklight with Perfect World.

"We have published our own and been a part of over thirty titles, worked on ever major console, partnered with nearly every publisher, and even did a bit of work for the US Army. Now it is time for us to part ways and close our doors." The company stated on a farewell letter on their website

The change has come about due to a departure from the owners of Zombie Studios, which explains how relatively cleanly things have moved over to the newly formed Builder Box studio, which is comprised of the developers who made Blacklight, and will continue to work on the title.
