Capy's acclaimed iOS adventure game Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP picked up nine nominations -- the most for any game this year -- for the 2012 Canadian Videogame Awards. Organizers for the show, which recognizes standout games developed in Canada and released in 2011, have announced the 28 finalists for more than a dozen categories that will be featured in this year's Canadian Videogame Awards. Other games that received multiple nominations include Ubisoft Montreal's Assassin's Creed Revelations, Eidos-Montreal's Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Relic Entertainment's Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. A panel of industry experts will vote on the winners, and members of the public can also cast their vote for the Game of the Year category, which includes Sword & Sworcery, Deus Ex, Assassin's Creed Revelations, and Electronic Arts' FIFA 2012 and Fight Night Champion.
