Audiokinetic today released a new version of its Wwise video game audio pipeline that includes new audio effects and features.
WWise 2010.2 introduces side-chaining for automatic volume adjustment and convolution reverb to simulate the way sound reverberates in an enclosed space, along with Tremolo, Flanger, Guitar Distorsion and Meter effects and more advanced DSP options.
The convolution reverb feature will be available as an add-on sold separately or as part of a number of WWise PowerPacks.
