The fantasy city-builder Elvenar begins the year with some magic as part of this year’s Sorcerers’ event: the Forbidden Ruins. As the time comes for another pilgrimage, players are tasked with helping Zaphiel gather as much Sorcerer’s Knowledge as possible. The event runs from today through February 9^th.

Following rumors that some Sorcerers had left the Manor over the last months to begin their own pilgrimage, Zaphiel and his caravan come across a camp of Sorcerers in the forest surrounding a huge crevasse and the floating ruins of an ancient castle. With so many unsettling questions coming to mind, Zaphiel needs players’ help to uncover the truth. Sorcerers’ Knowledge can be gathered by completing quests and through daily log ins and solving incidents around one’s city.

Reaching the various waypoints on the journey will result in treasure. For each Sorcerer who travels the great distance to complete their journey, players will be rewarded one of the grand prizes. As players progress through the event, they will be able to gather all the buildings from this year’s new building set, including the Forbidden Ruins, Mystical Dreams and Magic Dragon Tamer.

This year’s event will contain the Leagues system as well as the Royal Prize Pass. Among the rewards is a new spell that will allow players to revive their troops in the Battle Results screen.

Elvenar is free-to-play and available on browser and Android and iOS devices.
