INDIANAPOLIS, IN. 1/25/2022 — Falcon Development is pleased to announce Cattails: Wildwood Story, the standalone sequel to the popular cat simulation game Cattails (2017). This new title will delight both existing fans of the series and first-time players with reimagined mechanics, new features, and an assorted cast of fresh & familiar faces. A Kickstarter campaign will launch on May 10, 2022 to fund development of the game. Pending a successful crowdfunding campaign, Cattails: Wildwood Story will release on Steam in Q4 2023 and Nintendo Switch™ in Q4 2024.
 
Lead your colony of cats into the mysterious Wildwood! Stalk prey to find food, defend your new home from dark intruders, and discover fresh herbs & ancient treasures. Build a thriving town for all cats to call home. Get to know the residents, fall in love, and raise a litter of kittens! Cattails: Wildwood Story features an expanded hunting system, an improved real-time action combat system, an intriguing plot to unravel, an all-new gardening mechanic, and plenty of new features for building, customizing, and growing your very own colony of adorable cats. Composer Tormod Garvin returns to the series with a brand new original soundtrack, featuring over two hours of kitten-inspired music.
 
Falcon Development's previous title, Cattails (2017), released on Steam following a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised over 10x its initial funding goal. In 2018, the game pounced onto the Nintendo Switch™ eShop. Since that time, hundreds of thousands of fans have had the chance to become a cat and enter the captivating world of Cattails. Cattails (2017) has been awarded an Overwhelmingly Positive review rating on Steam.
