International outsourcing multimedia company Nikitova LLC announced that it is starting work that will eventually see four new office openings within the Ukraine, as the world market for video game outsourcing continues to swell significantly. Nikitova's plans include opening branch offices in some of the Ukraine’s largest cities in the next few years. Starting this year, in addition to its office in Kiev, the company will begin efforts to open branch offices in four cities, including Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Odessa and Lvov. “We know there are talented artists, programmers and animators in every corner of the Ukraine,” commented Olya Nikitova, CEO of Nikitova. “Our expansion will help us to access and organize this extensive pool of professionals to join us in game development and programming activities.” Nikitova added: “We want to empower people from the north, south, east and west regions of the Ukraine to work in an exciting and growing field and to offer them a path for self realization.” The topic of outsourcing itself will also play a central role at the recently announced CMP Game Group organized conference entitled GDC Focus On: Game Outsourcing Summit, slated for August 14, 2006 at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott. In addition, game-related outsourcing itself has become a topic of much debate recently, with Amritt Ventures, a corporate advisory service, recently publishing its survey findings, noting a mixed reaction from the 317 United States game-industry participants surveyed between May and July 2006 - but the industry seemingly working swiftly towards efficiency on the matter.
