Kuju Entertaintment technical director Adrian Hawkins has been promoted to chief technical officer, and also takes a seat on the company's board -- giving him new responsibility for production and delivery, in addition to the technical supervisory role. "We are pleased to welcome Adrian to the board," says CEO Ian Baverstock. "He has worked for the company for many years and has a significant depth of experience in both product development and technology. He has an excellent ability to manage development risk and will help to ensure the quality and timely delivery of our products in 2010 and beyond." Hawkins said he particularly looks forward to the role's increased flexibility, through which he hopes to share best practices among Kuju's studios. The company currently has five: Headstrong, Doublesix and Zoe Mode in the UK, plus Kuju Manila and Vatra in Czechoslovakia. Zoe Mode also has a San Francisco office. Adds Hawkins: "I also relish the chance to have a greater strategic role at Kuju in what are very interesting times for our industry."
