Serious games company Virtual Heroes, which specializes in creating learning solutions for federal systems, digital health and corporate training, has announced a strategic partnership with contractor Camber Corporation. Together, the two companies will combine technological resources in order to secure large government contracts and "drive the development of interactive training solutions and products." The agreement will also allow the firms to share technical expertise, contract support and marketing resources as both companies will work together to build a joint team, as well as a common technology base and brand identity. Camber seems like a natural fit for Virtual Heroes, given both companies' focus on advancing training technologies used within various markets, including those within the federal government. Virtual Heroes focuses its efforts in the areas of instructional design, digital engineering, project management, modeling and simulation, courseware development and assessment in providing immersive training experiences. The company is also developing its HumanSim dual-use medical training product platform for military personnel and civilian first responders. Camber, on the other hand, is most recognized as a provider of services and solutions in the fields of joint technical services, engineering, training, information technology, modeling and simulation, decision support, and homeland security. The company has also been recognized for its contributions to the nuclear, biological and chemical defense program and national security, as well as for providing a comprehensive real-time weather radar simulation. “We are very excited to combine our resources, technology and expertise with Camber Corporation to create and deliver even greater value to clients of both companies,” stated Jerry Heneghan, Virtual Heroes founder and CEO. “Together, we can make those products and solutions available to even more organizations.” Added Camber's CEO Walter Batson, “We selected Virtual Heroes to enhance and strengthen our team's ability to further the delivery of PC based simulations and other advanced learning solutions for our clients. This agreement will provide the means to expand our advanced modeling and simulation product solutions within the Federal marketplace.”
