THQ announced today that it has acquired Ann Arbor, MI-based Outrage Entertainment, which is currently developing an original action game for the PS2 and Xbox that THQ will unveil at E3 next month.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Separately, THQ also announced that it has opened a game development studio in Seattle, WA, called Cranky Pants Games. Cranky Pants is headed by David Bollesen, and is working on a GameCube project scheduled for release in 2003.
