Eidos Interactive has announced a DS version of Prism: Light the Way which it released last year as a PC and mobile downloadable. The new DS version will be available in North America on October 17th. Prism: Light the Way is a puzzler focused on manipulating, splitting and bouncing colored light with mirrors and gems to create patterns. It features 128 puzzles and various modes, including an "infinity" mode which randomly generates endless new puzzles, and adds both co-op and versus play modes. Eidos says this edition of the game is derived from last year's original, which was developed by Morpheme studios (Go to Hell, Everything Explodes) "Simple design with the possibility of complex solutions makes Prism: Light the Way a fresh new competitor in the puzzle genre," said Eidos associate marketing manager Diane Eng.
