Independent developers creating content for the free-to-play game platform Roblox could see payouts totaling $30 million before year end, if current trends continue.

According to Roblox Corporation, the creator-powered social platform has flourished in recent years and the developers creating games and other content for Roblox are set to reap the benefits.

Roblox itself is a game that touts itself as more of a creation platform than a free-to-play game. The platform arms players with a number of creation tools that can be used to create their own games within the world. In just the past few months, the number of worldwide active players has jumped from 48 to 56 million.

The $30 million expected to hit the wallets of Roblox’s 1.7 million creators at the end of the year is a significant jump from the $5.5 million paid out to devs just one year earlier. Of those nearly 2 million developers, two top creators are set to earn more than $2 million individually by the end of 2017.
