Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list. This week brings Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider, Maxis' SimCity, and competing baseball sims from 2K and Sony to North America. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending March 9th, 2013. Games Released in the United States: Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider series reboot arrives on store shelves this week to a spate of positive review scores. The reboot chronicles the travels of a young Lara Croft, and is notable for its drastic, darker shift in tone, compared to previous franchise entries. The latest entry in Maxis' long-running SimCity series is set to launch on PC platforms, boasting a new gameplay engine and an asynchronous multiplayer mode. This week will also see the release of new MLB-licensed baseball sims from Sony and 2K Games, while the 3DS hosts Konami's side-scrolling platformer Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate.
