Protostar is a new mobile studio from a couple of Halfbrick vets

Newsbrief: Two Halfbrick Studios veterans, who have each been at the Fruit Ninja company for around seven years, have split away and are now preparing to release their first mobile game. Protostar is Matt Knights and Dean Loades. Knights has been lead artist at Halfbrick since 2007, while Loades was a Halfbrick programmer from 2006 onwards. The Australian duo are about to release Checkpoint Champion, a bite-sized set of top-down racing challenges, for iOS on November 20, with an Android release later.
