Newsbrief: Mobile ad network alternative Chartboost announced today that it has served more than one billion impressions since it launched last May. Described by the company's CEO as "a dating site for mobile publishers, where they can find each other and do advertising deals directly, on their own terms with no mediation," Chartboost has seen its traffic in the U.S. rapidly growing over the last few months, and plans to expand internationally into Asia and Europe over the coming years. The company received $2 million in funding back on October, and has been using the money to expand its platform to allow more developers to directly sell advertising space in their games, rather than relying on an ad network to populate the space.
