Norwegian developer Funcom today said that it is back up and running, following a clash with the Norwegian authorities over allegedly breaking stock market law.
The Oslo Stock Exchange said earlier this week that the Norwegian National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime -- or Okokrim for short -- is challenging the financial information that Funcom gave regarding revenues from August 2011 until September 2012.
In a statement to Massively, Funcom's director of communications
Erling Ellingsen has now said that the company is continuing game production as normal, and that it is fully cooperating with the authorities.
"Yesterday's events is not expected to have any impact on the company's continued operation or the development on future releases," he noted.
Ellingsen was seemingly unwilling to comment on the state of affairs with the Okokrim for now, nor was Gamasutra able to get through to the team at Funcom to discuss the issue.
