Ande on kickstarter

Lisa Walters, Creative Director, and Dominika Marcisz, Animator and Designer, are Meekalili. Along with Tim Pringle and Jo Anderes, we are excited to have created ANDE, Power UP!

We are looking for sponsors, collaborators, funders and believers who see the value in ANDE and wish to be part of his procreation. To get the ball rolling we have registered with KICKSTARTER, an awesome crowd sourcing platform. Which means for a nominal amount, you too can be part of the ANDE REVOLUTION. It’s quick, easy, you get some really cool, limited edition rewards and you become instrumental in bringing ANDE to life.
Check it out and pass if forward:

Apart from Kickstarter, we really believe in the power of ANDE and what he can do for the individuals, corporates, groups and organisations out there. He is a powerful interactive tool that can be used to access and understand feelings, and then to find solutions moving forward. Our aim is to create ANDE into a phenomena that is a game, an online support portal and a book.

Here is ANDE, in a nutshell

Welcome to ANDE’s world, a thoroughly engaging mobile game that transforms your feelings by taking action. The concept behind ANDE is to create an exciting experience, where anyone, both young and old, has the power to face up to and change their feelings, at any given time, in a fun and interactive way … with the support of a trusted sidekick, ANDE the crazy neuron (your interactive portal hero).

Because most of us have experienced the world of anxiety and depression in one form or another, we are very aware of its destructive nature. There is a ton of information out there on these topics, but we found it all to be incredibly wordy, lengthy and intense. Which seemed to make us more anxious and depressed.

We decided to have some fun and create a game that redirects your focus and at the same time makes you feel better. Voilà! ANDE (being a derivative of ANxiety and DEpression) was born. To develop the content of the game, we are using well researched techniques and are working both with kinesiology principles, counselling experience, as well as a reputable psychiatrist with over 30 years experience.

We didn’t want to downplay nasty feelings, like dealing with an impossible boss, losing in love, getting through a tedious job, etc. By playing the game rather, Ande gives you some options to face these feelings and find more accessible ways forward. ANDE is your avatar, getting you to lighten up and live life, rather than merely surviving it. In other words, a whole new phenomena, through a fun, interactive approach.

The Science behind ANDE

It’s all about energy. Through quantum physics and modern approaches to wellbeing it has been revealed that we are all essentially energetic beings. Our nervous system, through neurons that process and transmit signals electrically and chemically, are the messengers, instructing us how to live life. We experience these bite size pieces of information as feelings. They create our emotional reality. And they have the power to take us down … or lift us high.

Because our modern lives are so fast paced, and jam packed, various forms of anxiety and depression, are becoming part of the daily grind. If more people got to face their feelings head on, take action and get back their power, our world would be a far better place.

With solid science and statistics behind ANDE, we aim to create ANDE into a simple support system for individuals, professionals, therapists, psychologists and anyone else who is in need of an interactive tool in dealing with emotional issues at hand.

Our plans for ANDE

We have conceptualised and formalised the process and now production is underway. This is where you come in. Would ANDE be a handy resource for you, either as an individual or in a group context? If so contact us and lets see how we can make ANDE accessible for you. You can contact Meeka and Lili at [email protected], or through Meekalili website http://www.meekalili.com
