Animal Crossing: New Leaf has blown fellow first-party Nintendo 3DS titles out of the water, moving 6.35 million units worldwide since its launch in Japan in November 2012.
The figure comes from supplementary information [

Trailing behind
New Leaf among first-party lifetime sales were
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (3.13 million globally),
Tomodachi Collection (1.63 million),
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (1.37 million) and
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (1.19).
It should be noted that these rankings do not include the recently released
Pokemon X & Y, which Nintendo reports
moved over 4 million units within two days of its worldwide release on October 12th.
